A celestial roll call, as required by Church mandate.
As a Reader of the Church of the Prophet, it is my solemn and entirely voluntary duty (under no pressure whatsoever) to document the divine figures that shape our world.
The pantheon of Elandaru is vast, varied, and vaguely organized. Known collectively as ‘The Seven and The Three’, these are the entities said to guide fate, wield elemental forces, and occasionally meddle in mortal affairs for reasons known only to themselves.
What follows is a catalog of deities and their domains, along with a polite attempt at summarizing their divine behaviors, philosophical priorities, and general attitude toward mortal inquiries.
Chief among them, of course, is The Prophet—light of truth, voice of the divine, and central figure of the Church. I am, of course, duty-bound to speak of the Prophet with reverence, awe, and absolute sincerity. Which I absolutely am doing. Right now.
The rest? They cover everything from healing and harvest to war, luck, knowledge, and those unsettling corners of the cosmos best left unexplored. Some are worshipped in temples of radiant light; others get their offerings behind closed doors, usually at night, usually with whispered apologies.
As for which ones are “good” or “less good,” well… that often depends on your personal outlook, who ruined your morning, or how pointedly you’d like to draw divine attention to your employer during a staff meeting. Morality, much like prophecy, is all about interpretation.
Churches and other holy buildings devoted to particular deities are often found within cities are large towns, Dawnsheart, for example, is home to the Church of the Prophet. In other locations it is not uncommon to find a shrine with dedicated sections to all ten figures. There are in fact small alters to all the others in the Church of the Prophet.
