A tale of duty, desire, and dangerous swordplay.
Synopsis
Lady Evelyne Moreau has always been a woman of grace, duty, and discipline, but when she flees an arranged marriage, she finds herself under the tutelage of the infamous duelist Gevain Voss. His lessons in swordplay are strict, precise, and intimate, each sparring session bringing them dangerously close in ways neither can deny.
But war is brewing, and Evelyne must decide—will she return to the life she fled, or will she risk it all for the man who taught her how to fight… and how to surrender?
“A Hand on the Hilt is a thrilling blend of romance, rivalry, and the art of the perfect grip. Yet another outstanding entry in Barbara’s collection of works”
